Apply to join our dynamic & forward thinking eye department and trust as a Locum Consultant.As a Glaucoma Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to manage complex glaucoma cases and contribute to the high standard of care provided by our department. The glaucoma team is an enthusiastic, innovative team (3 substantive glaucoma consultants, 5 SAS doctors, fellows & nurses) delivering complex traditional surgery and MIGS.Why Us? Our purpose-built Southampton Eye Unit has a new outpatient department & fully equipped operating theatres offering state-of-the-art facilities for both inpatient and outpatient care.We have the latest imaging equipment, including OCTs, Optos, and digital slit lamps, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of care.Our four fully equipped ophthalmic theatres boast cutting-edge technology, including Alcon Phacoemulsification machines and Ngenuity 3D viewing systems.
