The Logistics Analyst will assist the Supply Chain department with overseeing materials management, providing process support and designing reporting applications based on business requirements. This position will provide operational and administrative support to the Supply Chain department.Please note that this is a 2-year contract role.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interfaces with internal personnel to understand requirements, develop plans and ensure desired processing and movement of product.
  • Analyzes product inventory movement transactions in order to ensure the security and integrity of the inventory management system.
  • Develops and provides daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports as required.
  • Reviews inventory reports to proactively monitor and ensure accuracy.
  • Executes inventory transactions to maintain accountability of product inventories.
  • Actively participates in the resolution of inventory discrepancies through problem identification and resolution.
  • Engages in material transfer activities within the Access Solution franchise (Canada and Costa Rica), ensuring all actions are planned and agreed upon with project stakeholders.
  • Acts as liaison between Supply Chain and Operations to ensure smooth product flow through the distribution chain.
  • Tracks end-to-end processes, including inbound priorities, production job readiness, and timely shipment of finished goods.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities within the logistics department as well as the sustaining of the key performance indicators.

Required qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations analysis and process mapping
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in materials and warehouse management
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written English communications skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of Carrier and Transportation account management
  • Ability to work well with a team, but also be a self-driven independent operator, working with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, time management & multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ERP systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Project Management
