In this role, you’ll work closely with carriers to manage transportation schedules, ensure accurate shipment handling, and provide detailed quotes and tariff information. The right candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and a passion for the transportation industry.Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring smooth shipment execution
• Generate accurate rate quotes and tariff costs for internal teams and customers
• Build and nurture strong relationships with transportation providers and vendors
• Monitor market trends and adjust shipping strategies to remain competitive
• Negotiate LTL and TL rates with both new and existing carriers
• Resolve shipment issues and discrepancies promptly to maintain service quality
• Offer alternative logistics solutions when standard service parameters cannot be met
• Contribute to process improvements aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency

A Successful Candidate Has:

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation dispatch
• Solid understanding of freight rating systems and tariff structures
• Familiarity with NMFC freight classification and transportation documentation
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach
