Stronger together, we promote an environment where individuals can thrive.As a Logistics Coordinator II at World Kinect Corporation, you will be the primary liaison for drivers and customer service, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency in a 24/7/365 logistics environment. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations.Location: Auburn, CA
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000Key ResponsibilitiesFuel Delivery & Inventory Management: Analyze daily fuel delivery needs and manage inventory systems to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Dispatch Operations: Create and manage daily dispatch schedules, optimizing routes and delivery efficiency.Third-Party Carrier Coordination: Assign orders and confirm acceptance with external carriers to ensure smooth operations.Driver Communication: Coordinate with drivers to relay load requirements and ensure on-time performance.Supply Chain Collaboration: Partner with the WKC Supply team to identify optimal lift points and suppliers to maximize order profitability.Decision-Making: Make swift, informed decisions in dynamic situations to maintain operational flow and resolve issues efficiently.Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism, delivering a high-quality service experience.Safety & Compliance: Report and document any incidents or spills promptly, reinforcing a strong safety culture.Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for internal departments and compliance purposes.Ad Hoc Support: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support logistics operations.Additional ResponsibilitiesIssue Resolution: Anticipate and address service disruptions with effective recovery plans.Cross-Functional Planning: Collaborate with regional teams to coordinate transport planning and scheduling.Qualifications & CompetenciesTime Management: Prioritize tasks effectively, anticipate challenges, and communicate progress clearly.Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong multitasking and goal-oriented capabilities.Analytical Thinking: Evaluate data from multiple sources to develop practical solutions.Communication: Communicate clearly and confidently across all organizational levels.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with DOT regulations, hazardous materials handling, and local transportation systems.Self-Motivation: Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills and comfort with digital tools and platforms.Work Flexibility: Adapt to both in-office and remote work environments as needed.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree in business or related field preferred.Minimum of 1 year of dispatching or equivalent logistics experience.Prior experience in petroleum dispatching is a plus.Training in DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling is preferred.What We OfferHealth Benefits.
