Long-Term Arrangement for National Professional Photographer/Videographer,Abidjan – Cote d’Ivoire

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, a champion

UNICEF Cote d’lvoire needs to place the issues facing continuously and strategically the most marginalized and excluded children in Cote d’lvoire in the international scene, the national dialogue and at the heart of the public and political! agenda; to bring issues to the forefront to accelerate the realization of child rights for Cote d’lvoire’s most vulnerable children. Regarding the evolving upstream role of UNICEF in the Country Program (policy advocacy and dialogue, resources leveraging, etc.) and the enhanced role that public awareness and advocacy will have to play to support this, the program would ensure that the organization is positioned as a credible and trusted voice for children and is perceived as relevant to guide and influence the policy dialogue. UNICEF needs to continue to deliver persuasive messages through different channels, exploring key opportunities for activating our audiences around advocacy priorities, defining, and implementing public advocacy actions targeted at decision makers.

To support the activities of the UNICEF Cote d’Ivoire office, we are recruiting consultants to provide visual documentation in original digital format on a) UNICEF Cote d’Ivoire’s programmes (communication, child development, including Wash, nutrition, health, protection and education); b) high-level visits; c) official photos of key spokespeople and staff in order to produce communication and advocacy material that will be used by UNICEF’s internal and external partners across various platforms.
