This position is accountable for planning, implementation and coordination of worker and labour-related capabilities and initiatives in alignment with Departmental targets and aims.

On this position, you’ll:

  • Assist our Worker Relations and Labour Relations groups with labour and employee-related issues, corresponding to collective settlement interpretation, and advise leaders on employment requirements, BC Human Rights, and different relevant rules.
  • Help in grievance dealing with, arbitration, and collective bargaining preparation.
  • Take part in investigations and dispute decision.
  • Keep a labour relations database and help in analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR Enterprise Companions and the Supervisor, Labour Relations to supply built-in HR and labour options aligned with firm targets.

What it takes:

  • A level or diploma in HR or enterprise admin, plus a minimum of two (2) years’ expertise as an HR/LR Generalist in a unionized setting.
