We have an exciting opportunity to join the Estate Services Department as a Maintenance Engineer providing front line maintenance support to Oxford University departments based in the University’s varied functional estate portfolio. This portfolio includes over 230 buildings comprising teaching and research spaces, libraries, museums and administrative functions .

About the Role
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance of Mechanical plant and equipment across the University estate. They will report directly to the Mechanical Supervisor, but will be responsible for prioritising, planning and carrying out allocated tasks.
About You
As well as extensive experience of Mechanical maintenance, the post holder will be computer literate and able to keep accurate electronic records, ideally using handheld devices. Experience of supervising contractors is essential, as is the ability to work in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
