Reporting to the Director, Strategic Integrated Planning the Manager, Integrated Planning and Projects, is accountable for the operational leadership of the Integrated Planning portfolio, which includes guidelines, policies, processes and systems to enhance institutional strategic and operational planning processes. The role is also responsible for the strategic initiatives intake process, Yearly Divisional Business Planning Process, and other College Planning processes (Annual Report, MCU Reporting etc.). These processes support the achievement of the strategic plan, organizational decision making, policy formulation and college-wide budgeting in support of Sheridan’s vision and objectives. This work includes regular collaboration, consultation and relationship management with the senior leadership team and business leads throughout the organization.What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the IPA service model that engages business leads and decision makers to provide expert guidance, advice, training, facilitation and coaching services on initiatives that help progress the strategic plan
  • Participating on committees and cross-functional project teams
  • Advising senior leadership on institution-wide planning, the budgeting process and performance management processes.
  • Leading strategic initiative data collection, , advice, change management and communications
  • Developing and managing direct reports
  • Maintaining privileged and confidential information
  • Performing other duties as assigned

  • 4-year Bachelors degree or 3-year degree and post graduate certificate in Business, Humanities, Data Science or a related field of study
  • 3 to 5 years experience as a senior practitioner, technical advisor or consultant (equivalencies to be considered)
  • Demonstrated expertise and leadership experience with project management and change management
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex corporate performance reporting
  • Ability to effectively present strategies and plans to senior management
  • Knowledge of data visualization concepts and tools
  • PMP is an asset, but not required
  • Experience with project management software tools
