Concerning the position
Directeur des affaires juridiques pour diriger le sous-groupe des affaires juridiques en cost des activités transactionnelles de l’entreprise pour le Québec. Le directeur des affaires juridiques sera responsable d’une équipe déjà composée de six professionnels d’expérience, à savoir 3 avocats et 3 parajuristes. À ce titre, vous veillerez au bon déroulement des mandats corporatifs et transactionnels et vous procurerez des conseils stratégiques aux unités d’affaires décrites ci-dessous afin de les aider à rencontrer leurs objectifs respectifs.
Au quotidien, votre temps sera majoritairement consacré aux dossiers transactionnels impliquant des courtiers d’assurances, ou pour la supervision de transactions faites par les courtiers d’Intact, qu’il s’agisse notamment d’acquisitions, de prises de participation, des fusions et acquisitions, des réorganisations, des financements en dette, d’ententes de coentreprise ou de inclinations et la mise en place de régimes d’intéressement. Vous interviendrez aussi dans l’analyse d’opportunités d’affaires et des dossiers de droit transactionnel québécois visant la croissance de compagnies de secteurs connexes aux activités d’Intact et faisant partie de son portfolio.
De plus, le rôle pourra aussi impliquer des acquisitions pour On Aspect Developments Ltd., qui est une société spécialisée en restauration après sinistre acquise récemment, dans le cadre de son programme d’growth provinciale.
Vous aurez également un rôle actif dans l’uniformisation des pratiques au niveau nationwide, travaillant de live performance avec vos collègues pour harmoniser les façons de faire, en collaboration avec votre équipe et de s’assurer de l’intégrité des points légaux et réglementaires applicables à ICF et ses filiales.
