MANAGER SECURITY & ADMINISTRATION

Contech International, founded in 2001, is a health, research and management organisation, working in partnership with governments, donors, development partners, UN agencies, private sector and civil society to implement innovative concepts to improve healthcare. Our fundamental aim is to build resilient health systems and ensure equitable health services for different population groups and communities.

The position entails an overall responsibility for safety and security of its affiliated organisations, company assets, employees, delegates, guests, or others on company property and administrative operations of the firm.

SECURITY

Manager Security and Administration will be responsible for monitoring the security operations, implement security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and make sure that the environment in the organisation is safe for employers and visitors. (S)he directs security functions, including physical security and safety of employees, facilities, and assets.

ADMINISTRATION

Manager Security and Administration will be responsible for supervising administrative team members and ensures that daily operations are performed in a seamless and efficient manner. His/her role will be to oversee the administrative operations and is in charge of the day-to-day functions as well as supervising and supporting staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be an Ex Armed Forces with rank Lt. Col. (R) or above with minimum 10 years of related experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• The ability to investigate security breaches, develop and implement security strategies and policies.
• The ability to assess potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• The ability to lead and manage a team of admin and security personnel.
• Knowledge of office management procedures, departmental and legal policies, and financial and facilities management principles.
