As a Transaction Strategy & Execution (TSE) Manager within EY-Parthenon you will help make that happen. It’s your career to build.As an EY-Parthenon Manager within our Transaction Strategy and Execution practice, you’ll participate as a valued member of project teams helping clients address their most pressing strategic challenges. Together with your team, you will play a vital role by supporting and executing strategies for transactions and developing experience across a range of different type of engagements including pre-deal (e.g., due diligence, operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking, value creation) touching upon key functional areas, across a variety of industries.Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Operational assessments of profitability and performance
  • Operational due diligence, stand-alone costing, one-time cost development, operating model design
  • Assessment and quantification of value creation opportunities with a focus on operations (i.e. manufacturing, distribution, logistics)
  • Leading implementation of opportunities within operations
  • Leading program management activities to support execution of value creation programs
  • Supporting key client decision makers in developing and executing their value capture strategy
  • Support developing/executing value capture strategy
  • Assist in identifying value creation risks/issues

What we look forWe are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for Strategy and Transaction Services and have a very strong attention to detail. Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our client’s goals.Qualifications:

  • Advanced graduate degree in business, e.g., MBA, or related programs such as Master’s in Finance / Accounting with outstanding academic achievement from a top academic institution
  • 5-8 years of experience in professional services organization or related / career tracks; previous mgmt. consulting experience is a strong asset
  • Proven track record of managing projects, particularly in diligence / integration / divestiture / value creation space
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Experience managing teams on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
  • Experience in coaching and developing people

Background:

  • Accounting (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, MAcc, BAcc) and/or;
  • Business and Finance (e.g., BCom, MBA, MFin, CFA, PMP) and/or;
  • Engineering

Previous experiences:

  • Manufacturing and supply chain
  • Transportation and logistics
  • Operations
  • Financial modelling
