We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleAs a key member of Cameco’s asset management and reliability centre of excellence, the manager, work management processes, is responsible for Cameco’s business processes related to maintenance work management for physical assets, as well as supporting technologies, to ensure they meet business requirements.In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the definition, design, implementation and upkeep of work management processes including all governance documentation
  • Use various data sources and technologies to monitor the performance of work management processes, looking to identify, communicate, and address areas for improvement with site leaders and teams on issues
  • Provide consultancy services to sites and corporate departments in the areas of work management. This includes leveraging your team of work management specialists, to provide training and coaching on business processes, metrics, as well as related technologies
  • Act as Cameco’s gatekeeper of technologies used to support work management processes and keep in touch of the latest technologies and strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of processes
  • Organize and chair the work management community of practice, keeping records of meetings, issues, and actions

Required:

  • Diploma in engineering technology or business
  • 10 or more years of related work experience required
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SAP-PM, preferably S/4 Hana
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (writing, speaking, presenting)
  • Travel to northern Saskatchewan and Ontario operations as required

Recommended:

  • C. Tech (TPS or equivalent)
  • MMP – Maintenance Management Professional (PEMAC) or equivalent
  • CMRP – Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (SMRP)
  • Experience with Power BI
