Here, novel two-dimensional materials are often employed as electrode substrates. Current research projects include, but are not limited to, supercapacitors made from sustainable and environmentally-benign precursors, battery-supercapacitor hybrids using an organic redox species and aqueous batteries utilizing zinc anodes.The lab offers an opportunity to expand academic and international experiences for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellows in a diverse and culturally-rich environment.
