And together, we will redefine success.What you will doAs a Marketing Assistant, you will support the Global Relationship Managers across a portfolio of accounts in the management of the firm’s relationships with its key strategic clients. You will also work closely with other business development and marketing team members and with other support areas such as Finance, IT and HR.The role will include but not be limited to:Documentation / reportingSupporting with the preparation of client-facing documentation and reportsDeveloping and distributing internal communication for the global client team and within the firmData collation and managementProducing client-related research and analysisCollecting and coordinating various client information globallyMaintaining client information on A&O Shearman’s internal systems to ensure it is kept up-to-dateKeeping track of proposals and opportunities in A&O Shearman’s CRM system (EPiC)OtherPreparing for and attending regular internal meetings with the Global Relationship Manager, Global Relationship Partners and other core team members to agree client targeting plans, monitor progress against objectives, identify opportunities and monitor financialsDriving the strategic mailing process on each accountSupporting the Global Relationship Manager on the management of secondees at clients, including presecondment briefings, regular catch-ups and post-secondment debriefs to gather intelligence and feeding insights back to the client relationship teamUnderstanding our panel commitments on each client accountSupporting the organisation of client specific events, entertainment and client trainingAssisting on certain client relationship management priority projects designed to support the development of the firm’s client relationship management approachWhat you will haveExcellent writing skills and attention to detailAbility to demonstrate initiative and generate ideasExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particular skills with Excel and PowerPoint preferredEye for design/creativity (e.g. for presentations, proposals and events)Ability to work well under pressure and to drive through major projects to completionAbility to process and analyse business data and researchGood organisational and administration skills/ability to multi-taskGraduate with a strong academic background, preferably in Marketing/Business, or with equivalent work experienceWhat we can offer youWe recognise that our people are our most valuable asset, which is reflected in the wide range of benefits that are available to our employees.
