Your role as a Marketing Automation Product Owner will involve close collaboration with various team members to ensure the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) platform is used to its full potential. You will define and manage the product roadmap, be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns, and analyze data to optimize performance. Additionally, you will be the go-to expert for the platform, providing training and support to ensure seamless adoption within the Marketing team. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining data integrity and compliance, as well as exploring innovative ways to apply Pardot’s advanced features for maximum impact.The ideal candidate is someone with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and who is passionate about the latest trends and best-practices in marketing and email campaigns. Role is hybrid, requiring minimum 2 days per week in our Markham office.Come join our team!What you’ll do:Own the vision, which entails owning and communicating the product vision and business argument to all partners, understanding the strategic alignment with product and business roadmapsDesign, develop, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement programs for marketing and sales journeys, primarily focused on our broker channelHandle the product backlog, which includes ordering the backlog based on value and effort in response to insights gained from delivery, as well as managing collaborator relationshipsSupport or lead platform integrations with other systems and business applications used by AvivaIn partnership with Enterprise Architecture, identify areas of inefficiency for process and technology optimization and propose scalable solutionsAdhere to Salesforce standard processes, maintain code documentation, test classes for all custom developmentTake ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and codeRun the email calendar to triage requests from various departments to ensure even distribution of deploymentsHandle campaign lists, ensure data quality, and understand flow to and from CRM systemRoutinely analyze and report on key performance measurements, making recommendations to drive conversions, minimize email opt-outs, and improve contentIdentify areas of inefficiency for process and technology optimization and propose scalable solutionsDrive technology platforms adoption, and educate both within the Marketing team and across the organizationBe a point of contact between outside business divisions and Marketing Operations, as well as being a liaison with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure our Marking technology stack integrates seamlessly.What you’ll bring:3+ years of hands-on experience crafting data-driven, sophisticated programs using Pardot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account EngagementMarketing analytics knowledge with the ability to extract, analyze, summarize, and communicate data and recommendationsKnowledge of industry standard and leading practices for digital marketing contact managementFirm practical understanding of B2B and B2B2C contact models, concepts, and strategiesThe ability to work collaboratively across teams and functionsStrong communication, collaboration and collaborator management skills strongly preferredOrganization and time management skillsUniversity degree or equivalent experience in Marketing an asset.Salesforce Certification (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist) preferred.What you’ll get:Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Outstanding Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per yearEmployee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusionCorporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental healthHybrid flexible work modelAviva Canada has an accommodation process in place to provide accommodations for employees with disabilities.
