Marketing Designer and Coordinator

Person Specification:

  • A Level or equivalent in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in designing content for web, desktop & mobile, brand identities, graphics and editorial layouts
  • Proficient in using design tools, such as Adobe or Canva, and video editing/production.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to prioritise work as appropriate
  • Experience of working in a team and dealing with shared deadlines
  • Evidence of a strong portfolio demonstrating design across a variety of platforms
  • Understanding of design theory & principles
  • Knowledge of web accessibility and the requirements this places on universities
  • Ability to translate organisational goals into digital experiences
  • Knowledge of Wordpress website content management system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Resourceful with problem solving skills and an innovative approach to task delivery
  • Works well under own initiative
