Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The RBC Marketing team is seeking an experienced and passionate marketer to support our broker marketing channel across the Insurance portfolio. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop unique insights and innovative strategies, diving deep into the details to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns from advertising to experiential to sponsorships. You will have both a flare for creative and will be an insights-led marketer who can convert data/marketing results into actionable insights to deliver on aggressive targets through best-in-class marketing. You will display leadership across functional teams and will have the ability to effortlessly navigate a highly matrixed organization to deliver results.What will you do?

  • Support with strategy development and lead execution of top-funnel & mid-funnel campaigns to build and maintain awareness for RBC Insurance amongst Mass Canadians and Brokers/Advisors – including input into strategy, development of creative briefs and successful execution of campaigns from briefing to reporting
  • Develop competitive reviews/analysis to inform current and future business landscape and marketing strategy
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of our broker channel partners’ goals and priorities (business growth, acquisition, engagement and retention)
  • Collaborate with internal, and external partners including media and creative agencies to drive best-in-class campaigns
  • Lead Sponsorship opportunities / implement strategies to drive greater awareness, consideration and affinity for RBCI with Consumers and Brokers/Advisors
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to lead, develop and deliver strategic frameworks, recommendations, creative briefs/execution, post analysis and presentations through an insight-driven approach
  • Ensure disciplined Key Performance Indicator (KPI) establishment, measurement and analyses to enable strategic conversations, and fuel insights and future marketing plans
  • Identify gaps in process and opportunities for growth within the overall strategy and share creative solutions and suggestions for campaign improvements

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in integrated campaign management and execution including campaign development, agency briefing, approvals, & budget management
  • Experience creating tools, content, or programs that help brokers sell effectively
  • Strong ability to collaboratively work in cross-functional teams and across the organization while being able to adapt in changing environments
  • Data driven mindset – ability to assess performance gather insights, and adjust programs based on results.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to details
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated orientation towards positive mindset, problem solving, ownership, collaboration, and flexibility

Nice-to-have

  • Agency experience
  • Financial Services experience and previous Insurance experience
  • Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Experience in B2B marketing
