If you agree, then we’d love to hear from you.Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join the EMENA B2B planning team as a Marketing Manager for Advanced Learning covering our Course and Library markets.This role assumes strategic responsibility for ensuring marketing campaign briefs are developed to support Library and Faculty customer engagement in the key HSS portfolio area of focus for EMENA.We are looking for a motivated, commercially focused individual who will develop the go-to-market strategies which underpin the formal regional strategic plan, working alongside the Regional Director of Marketing.You will be responsible for building out campaigns, setting measurable goals as well tracking, monitoring and reporting on ROI as key successes in this role. A deep understanding of the EMENA market/region will enable you to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns driven and informed by performance data to make decisions.What you’ll be doing

  • Define and implement region-specific marketing plans with a focus on the HSS subject portfolio marketing to our core Library and Course Market customers.
  • Develop marketing campaigns that align to commercial growth/retention, revenue and inspection copies targets
  • Track, monitor, and measure success using OKRs.
  • Collaborate internally with other functions within the global Marketing, Commercial, Editorial, and Marketing Insights teams.
  • Promote regional work using case studies and practical examples of success and where learnings will be used to improve and enhance regional efforts.
  • Manage regional budget, ensuring investment is placed in high value/return areas.
  • Work with specialist teams to ensure content localisation and adaptation based on customer needs, setting high standards for planning and deliverables.
  • Make informed recommendations using data, and take advantage of opportunities in region, being flexible and adaptable which return on investment.
  • Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps.

QualificationsIn order to be successful in this role you will:

  • have the ability to analyse information and data to ensure a well-executed regional marketing strategy is in place
  • have excellent communication skills and ability to inspire others towards a common vision or goal
  • be a results-oriented and independent marketer who can think outside the box, using their own initiative to achieve a set of results
  • have a demonstrated ability to drive a well-executed integrated marketing programme
  • have a commercial mindset and understand the need to align the marketing strategy with the sales/commercial objectives/needs (e.g. understanding the pipeline value of a set of leads)
  • have a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to successfully influence and work in a matrix-environment
  • have strong interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills
  • have an exceptional team player mindset

Additional InformationLocation: This role is offered on a truly balanced working model with the successful candidate being able to commute when required to our Milton Park, Abingdon-on-Thames office hub, with the remaining time working from home.Closing Date: Applications will close on 2nd September 2024 – but please note that applications are shortlisted on a rolling basis, and we will be interviewing alongside advertising, so we encourage you to apply at the earliest opportunity.What we offer in return:
