This ensures TELUS’s offerings are accessible and appealing to a wide range of customers.Our Position within TELUSNestled within the Consumer Mobility marketing team, we are responsible for driving profitable growth through the fastest-growing segments of the TELUS business. Our team has direct responsibility for, or provides supporting leadership to, all ‘4 Ps’ of the marketing mix-product, price, place, and promotion-to drive our business objectives.At TELUS, working with channels is about more than just deploying campaigns-it’s about driving collaboration and innovation across diverse teams to create impactful, customer-focused experiences.This position is the key go-between between marketing and channel, and will have the opportunity to shape strategy, optimize performance, and introduce creative tactics that elevate program visibility and engagement. - Channel Strategy & Planning
- Lead annual channel strategy planning with ROI and channel effectiveness evaluations
- Introduce contests, SPIFFs, and buzz communications to boost participation and visibility
- Continuously optimize channel mix to maximize marketing impact and business goals
- MEP Management & Optimization
- Multicultural Excellence Program are specific storefronts that are equipped with in language merchandising, unique offers, cultural milestone participation etc
- Oversee day-to-day MEP management, implementing pricing changes and tiered support (funding, marketing)
- Execute geo-targeted marketing and in-language creative strategies for multicultural outreach
- Analyze campaign data to drive continuous improvement and program optimization
- Expand MEP to additional multicultural stores for increased community engagement
- Channel Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution
- Collaborate with teams to identify key channels for campaign deployment
- Define milestones for smooth and timely GTM execution
- Manage coordination of activities, ensuring deadlines and stakeholder alignment
- Channel Interlock & Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate cross-channel communication to enhance campaign performance
- Gather partner feedback to improve execution and address bottlenecks
- Educate channel partners on program updates for successful implementation
- Sponsorship & community events
- Identify multicultural events that align with marketing and sales opportunities
- Develop sponsorship plans to maximize on-site sales and promotional activities
- Cultivate partnerships to boost TELUS’s visibility in multicultural communities
- Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality, resonant content for multicultural audiences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in channel marketing, channel management, or a similar role focused on multichannel strategy, with a track record of delivering successful channel campaigns
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing channel marketing strategies, including campaign planning, optimization, and performance tracking
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders, including internal marketing teams, sales teams, and external partners
- Strong understanding of channel engagement tactics such as SPIFFs, contests, and incentive-based promotions to drive performance and participation
Nice to haves:
- Exceptional communication skills -both written and verbal-with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders at various levels
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of newcomer and multicultural marketing strategies and experience developing culturally relevant campaigns tailored to diverse audiences is highly desirable
- Experience in sponsorship and event marketing is a plus, particularly in multicultural or community-focused initiatives
