The Scope
As a key member of our growing global marketing team, you will play a vital role in delivering the marketing plan. Your focus will be nurturing relationships with existing and potential business partners and influencing markets to embrace forest stewardship.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the development of campaign concepts and execute promotional campaigns across various channels.
- Plan, manage and deliver diverse marketing initiatives (e.g., sales collateral, webinars, events, social media, lead generation, video, presentations, etc.).
- Undertake market research and determine how to target business audiences.
- Coordinate externalmarketing and design agencies to create compelling marketing materials.
- Cultivate strong relationships with FSC regional and local network offices to amplify our activities and strengthen FSC’s brand presence with business audiences.
- Measure, analyse and report on the success of marketing campaigns providing actionable insights.
- Additional tasks as agreed with the Marketing Programme Manager.
Your profile
- Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing, strategic communications, business, or related field.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in marketing with focus on business audiences and/or within the NGO/ESG sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing marketing and communications initiatives.
Work style and skills:
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Natural and highly effective collaborator with ability to drive results through teamwork.
- Proven ability to facilitate discussions and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
- A proactive, solution- and service-oriented approach to challenges.
- Has a deep commitment to responsible forestry and/or environmental sustainability in alignment with FSC’s mission.
Languages:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in another language a plus.
Digital Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM and/or marketing automation tools preferred.
- Competence in making web CMS updates a plus (e.g., Drupal).

The Fine Print
- Location: Bonn, Germany (with a hybrid work schedule)
- Working Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week.
- Duration of contract: Initial 2 year contract with the intend to go open-ended.
- Travel: sporadic travel.
