The Soil Association
About our Organisation
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of
human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues
in isolation.
We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we
support and grow the organic market, and we protect forests. We couldn’t do any of this without
our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world
where it’s needed the most.
About the Opportunity
Join our ambitious fundraising team and play a vital role in looking after the engagement and
stewardship of the Soil Association Development programme. Our donors sit at the heart of our
organisation and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about donor care and storytelling
to give our supporters the best experience of supporting the Soil Association. You will provide
multi-channel marketing support and expertise to nurture, retain and develop our growing
supporter base.
About You
You will have the skills needed to engage supporters both online and offline. As well as
experience in developing supporters, in order to generate income through direct response-led
marketing. You’ll be working across multi-channel communications and share the impact of our
work through writing content to use in email newsletter and our members’ magazine.
