Math Graduate Teaching AssistantExcellent All Girls Secondary SchoolLocation: BarnetContract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Commencing September 2023 for the full academic year)Salary: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)Are you a passionate Math graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Math Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding all girls Secondary School in Barnet.As a Math Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced Math department, assisting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons to students aged 11-18. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a positive impact on the academic development of our students.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the delivery of math lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of lesson plans and learning materials.
• Offer guidance and clarification to students during classwork and homework assignments.
• Mark and provide feedback on student work, tests, and assessments.
• Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Passion for math education and inspiring young learners.
• Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine commitment to the school’s ethos and the education of girls.
