These schools emphasise academic achievement, character development, and a well-rounded education, aiming to inspire students to become lifelong learners and take responsibility for their actions.Role and Responsibilities:
- Integrate technology and resources into lesson plans to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Accommodate students with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and assessments.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities related to mathematics (e.g., math clubs, competitions).
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive and productive learning environment.
- Stay updated on educational trends and research in mathematics instruction and incorporate new methodologies into teaching practices.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Participate in professional development workshops and conferences to continuously improve teaching skills and stay current with educational standards
The ideal candidate will:
- Have recent experience in teaching in schools
- Strong knowledge of the UK math curricular
- Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
- Be a committed team player
- Be confident and adaptable to different environments
- Have strong classroom management skills
