These schools emphasise academic achievement, character development, and a well-rounded education, aiming to inspire students to become lifelong learners and take responsibility for their actions.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate technology and resources into lesson plans to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Accommodate students with varying abilities and learning needs.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and assessments.
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular activities related to mathematics (e.g., math clubs, competitions).
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on educational trends and research in mathematics instruction and incorporate new methodologies into teaching practices.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Participate in professional development workshops and conferences to continuously improve teaching skills and stay current with educational standards

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in teaching in schools
  • Strong knowledge of the UK math curricular
  • Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
