Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 – £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)

• Teach mathematics across various key stages, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive and aligned with the national curriculum.
• Foster enthusiasm for mathematics by demonstrating its relevance and applications in everyday life and future careers.
• Assess and track student performance, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum content and teaching strategies.
• Encourage high standards of achievement, behaviour and participation among students.
• Stay informed about developments in mathematics education, integrating innovative practices and resources into your teaching.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a strong command of the subject.
• A comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
