Key Responsibilities1 Create engaging and comprehensive lesson plans and curricula based on prescribed texts and materials.
2 Work with colleagues to share effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
3 Deliver engaging lessons across various mathematical topics, such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
4 Evaluate student work, including exams and assignments, and communicate progress to parents and faculty.
5 Organize guest speakers, events, and educational trips to enhance the learning experience.
6 Stay updated on trends in mathematics education and continuously expand professional networks.
7 Ensure adherence to all relevant guidelines and provide extra support for students who need it, as well as additional resources for those excelling.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant teaching certification or licensing as required.
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and create engaging lesson plans.
- A passion for mathematics, compassion, approachability, resilience, and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Expected salary
£30000 – 41333 per year
