We are currently seeking a Maths teacher for an academic school in Enfield. This is a full-time position starting in September. • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and objectives
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student participation and critical thinking
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and assessments
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and supported
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, strategies, and best practices
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students’ academic progress and behaviour

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
• Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational trends and practices
