Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling metal products partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor. You will be assembling a new product line for cloud cooling systems, which are 6-14 feet tall and enclose all the wiring and fans to cool cloud systems for various companies. This role requires the use of hand tools, measuring tape, taking verbal instructions, and reading work instructions.
Responsibilities
Assemble metal products partially or completely
Work at bench or on the shop floor
Assemble cloud cooling systems (6-14 feet tall)
Use hand tools and measuring tape
Follow verbal and written work instructions
Prepare units for shipment by cleaning, insulating, and wrapping
Ensure all parts are accounted for and weigh the product
Maintain quality and attention to detail
Essential Skills
Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces
Experience with hand tools and measuring tape
Ability to read and follow verbal instructions
Experience with assembly and mechanical tasks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch (Level 2)
Ability to read blueprints (Level 2)
Experience with SAP/Access portal/work order systems
Experience with carpentry, wood pallets, production, mechanical assembly, inspection, framing, power tools, blueprint reading, and schematics

Work Environment
You will be working in a manufacturing machine and assembly shop that is very clean but non-climate controlled. Daily use of hand tools such as wrenches, rivet guns, torque wrenches, mallets, drills, and table saws is required. Personal protective equipment includes steel-toe boots, eye protection (provided if needed), long pants, and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $17.00/hr.
