An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Laboratory Medicine Department, Pathology for a motivated, flexible and dynamic Patient Services Secretary to support clinical teams.  Recently our Pathology Team won the Chairs Outstanding Team Achievement Hospital Heroes Award for working through the Covid-19 period.

Within this role you will be the first port of call for patients and their relatives/carers providing an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial service and will be responsible for supporting and administering a variety of  tasks for Consultants/Clinicians specialising in Chemical Pathology and Metabolic Medicine and the wider pathology team.  

This is a pivotal role whereby you will facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolving around the patient and their individual needs
