Description We are seeking a Medical Administrator for our healthcare operations in Winchester, Massachusetts. This role involves providing efficient customer service, handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with customers, provide information about our products and services, and ensure the smooth running of our administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of all medical products we carry

• Familiarize yourself with company policies, procedures, standards, and training programs

• Use the Allscripts and other medical software proficiently

• Properly intake customer orders and ensure they are processed according to procedure

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for customers

• Handle customer complaints professionally using problem-solving skills

• Process work orders, necessary paperwork, and prescriptions for physicians

• Arrange convenient delivery or pickup times with patients and caregivers

• Maintain up-to-date patient files and information

• Participate in company training programs

• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

• Use clinical trial operations and healthcare.gov systems to facilitate administrative tasks

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Allscripts and other medical software

• Experience with medical billing functions

• Familiarity with clinical trial operations

• Demonstrated understanding of compliance in a medical setting

• Ability to navigate and utilize HealthCare.gov effectively

• Experience in a medical front office environment

• Strong administrative and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
