Medical Call Center Agent – $18/hr. FULLY ONSITE

TEKsystems is looking to hire several Medical Call Center Agents for a large healthcare company out in Austin, TX! This role is fully onsite so please be mindful when applying. You must be within a 20 mile radius of 78727 and have reliable transportation. If you do not have reliable transportation, please refrain from applying. Job Title: Medical Call Center Agent

Must haves:

• 3 years in a healthcare high-volume call center environment, and medical terminology experience for radiology procedures preferred
• Must be familiar with new insurances in the market and familiar with Excel documents
• Must be proficient within Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and must be able to multitask

Job description:

• Receive phone calls, fax requests and emails and processed requests for medical records including films and digital images from patients and referring physicians, receiving, delivering, and sending mail correspondence, with patients.
• Contact patients and facilities to obtain comparison images, producing quality images through various systems, and gathering/assembling images for distribution.
• Generate and process daily pull lists and add-ons to ensure timely delivery of prior images, scheduling outside exams to upload images into ARA Synapse.
• Create addendums and overread requests from patients and physician offices.
