Medical Customer Service Representative in Poughkeepsie, New York

Description

The Medical Scheduler assesses a large volume of phone calls and requests both clinical and non-clinical in nature while providing superior customer service and maintaining a one call resolution standard.

•Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests

•Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100+ multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.

•Utilizes all resources available to efficiently and effectively assist all callers.

•Transfers/ warm-transfers calls to other departments and/or staff members when appropriate.

•Gathers all pertinent information for requests and relays messages to clinical staff members accordingly.

•Handles emergencies according to specified procedures

•Uses NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $20.00
