Job description

FULL TIME MRT OR CLXT (1 FTE EQUIVALENT)The Agency is assisting SHIFT Imaging in the recruitment of a dedicated and detail-oriented CLXT (Clinical Laboratory and X-ray Technologist) or MRT (Medical Radiation Technologist) to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care through the accurate performance of diagnostic tests and procedures.CompensationCompetitive for the locale.Competencies

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per established protocols and timelines.
• Ensure the proper operation of equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and procedures performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and contribute to patient care decisions.
• Educate patients about procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout their experience.

Skills

• Proficient understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues in a compassionate manner.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Familiarity with relevant software applications for managing patient data and test results.
