The roleWe’re looking for a Medical Writer to join our growing Healthcare Practice.Your role will include:

• Developing high-quality scientific materials for a variety of audiences, therapy areas and purposes.
• Collaborating with our Creative and Digital teams to communicate complex scientific concepts in engaging ways.
• Critical appraisal of medical research and ensuring scientific accuracy in our work.
• Building professional relationships with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Opportunities to contribute to strategic planning and new business development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong scientific background, educated to a minimum degree level in life sciences (MSc/PhD advantageous; 1-2 years’ experience in Medical Communications preferable).
• A broad knowledge of therapy areas.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical analysis of scientific data.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• A proactive solutions-focused attitude.
• Strong IT skills and be comfortable with Microsoft packages such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

LocationOur team meets regularly at our Central London office, so the ideal candidate would be open to joining us in person at least 2 days a week. Madano offers flexible start/end times around core working hours and working from home is certainly an option.Important InformationAs part of our recruitment process we request that you do not use AI, as all work will be passed through an AI analyser.
