They are looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team ASAP.This is an important role where you will be responsible for facilitating and providing tailored emotional support to students, helping them navigate their feelings, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive and safe environment for our students.The students at this school come from varied backgrounds, but many have experienced adverse childhood experiences. They may have childhood trauma that is linked to stress and anxiety, often impacting their ability to learn. They need an individual who will come in and be a pillar of support for them. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in their emotional and academic development.As a dedicated Mental Health Assistant, you will facilitate and provide individualised and tailored support, helping students work through their interventions.
