Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (until the end of the academic year)Supply Desk are seeking a dynamic and inclusive MFL teacher with a specialism in French to join a supportive, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive teacher to take on a long-term role, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.This position will involve teaching both French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, taking on full teaching responsibilities within a highly supportive and collaborative team.About the Role:As an MFL teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students to develop their language skills and fostering a love for learning. You will deliver high-quality lessons in both French and Spanish, working closely with the school’s committed MFL team to contribute to their shared vision of excellence.Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to mixed-ability groups at KS3 and KS4.
• Assessment: Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help all students achieve their potential.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organised classroom environment, encouraging active participation and respect.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the MFL department to support curriculum goals and ensure consistency in teaching standards.
• School Engagement: Embrace full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and participation in school activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a French specialist with experience teaching both French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrate a passion for languages, inspiring enthusiasm in students and promoting cultural awareness.
• Be confident in taking on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessments, and classroom management.
• Be a team player, ready to collaborate within a supportive and friendly department.
• Be available to start immediately and committed to the role until the end of the academic year.
