Description:

• Mechanical Maintenance Technician Millwright with experience welding and repairing machinery

• Work on mechanical systems – Automated Weld Mills, cut off systems, conveyors, overhead cranes, hydraulic and other mechanical components

• inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain all mechanical equipment in the steel mill environment.

• Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it

• Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.

• Test equipment to evaluate operation to ensure it’s safe

• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.

• Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
