Duties and Obligations

Background: The two positions shall be situated within the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s workplace for Yemen in Sana’a and Aden to assist the strategic reset of mine motion operations in Yemen. Duties and Obligations: • Facilitate and assist coordination and liaison with nationwide and worldwide mine motion stakeholders, together with authorities, worldwide organizations, and donors. • Facilitate and assist coordination with related UN companies, INGOs and Native NGOs to make sure complementarity and synergies amongst mine motion associated interventions. • Help the planning, high quality administration and implementation of subject visits, conferences, and workshops. • Help info administration, together with Mine Motion info administration, documentation of assembly minutes, key choices, and actions. • Help monitoring and analysis, together with the documentation of classes discovered and main outcomes. • Help briefings to donors, and reporting. • Help useful resource mobilization efforts. • Translate paperwork as needed from English to Arabic and vice versa. • Help in interpretation throughout conferences with native authorities and native communities. • Carry out some other duties, as needed.

{Qualifications}/particular abilities

A primary stage college diploma in enterprise or public administration, or some other associated space. All candidates should submit a duplicate of the required academic diploma. Incomplete purposes won’t be reviewed. A minimal of 5 years {of professional} work expertise within the mine motion sector in Yemen is required. A minimal of three years {of professional} work expertise in programme or challenge administration is required. A minimal of three years of direct expertise in partaking and influencing authorities officers in a fancy humanitarian setting is fascinating. Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; and Arabic is a working language of ESCWA. For this place, fluency in oral and written English is required. Fluency in oral and written and Arabic is required.
