This job is found primarily in WFP Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) Unit and job holder typically reports to Programme Policy Officer or Programme Associate. The reporting lines may change depending on the size of the office.
At this level, work is carried out with technical guidance and under minimum supervision. Job holder is expected to produce organised and accurate technical work and reports. He/she may provide guidance on standard practices to other staff and counterparts in his/her area of work.
To perform evidence generation and community engagement related duties and provide support to facilitate the effective delivery of WFP activities.

JOB TITLE: Monitoring Assistant
TYPE OF CONTRACT/GRADE: Special Service Agreement / SSA-4
UNIT/DIVISION: Programme Support
DUTY STATION: Amman & Za’tari Camp, Jordan
DURATION: 6 months
DEADLINE: 16 September 2024
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):
Evidence generation
Regular monitoring
All monitoring assistants are expected to conduct monitoring activities in any part of Jordan, as per work needs and instructed by supervisor.
Community engagement
Operation delivery support
RAM capacity development
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate is a plus
Experience: At least four (4) years of progressively responsible support work in the related area.
Knowledge & Skills:
Languages: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.
