A successful candidate will have the following:

FH Association is seeking an experienced MERL Manager who will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of the Country Office’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) strategies. This role ensures acquisition of quality data, the use of robust evaluation frameworks, supports evidence-based programmatic decision-making by making insights from program data available, fosters a culture of continuous improvement through generating evidence for RFTS (Resilience and Flourishing through Systems Transformation) program model. The MERL Manager will work cross-functionally, co-leading in program design using systems thinking and human-Centered design (HCD) approaches

Experience

  • The MERL Manager should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience working in Monitoring & Evaluation of humanitarian and development programs preferred.
  • Non-profit ministry experience is a plus. Program leadership experience that includes risk and compliance management, financial, and opportunity development

Education/Qualifications

A bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation studies, mathematics, statistics, Economic, Data Science, demography and population studies, or related field. Master’s degree/ Post graduate diploma in M&E, Statistics and/or M&E Certification is required

  • Strong understanding of project planning, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation processes.
  • Working knowledge of budget management.
  • Must have team building skills, personnel management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • High-level integrity and initiative taking and positive attitude towards learning and sharing.
  • Knowledge of statistical computer packages e.g. SPSS, EPI-INFO etc.
