I am looking for a Nanomaterial Chemist for a Material and Device company who are market leaders in Nanomaterial technologies. They work with a number of well-known clients and are looking to relocate to Oxford in October so are growing out the team in anticipation for their move.What you’ll be doing?You will be working in the manufacturing team focused on large-scale material development and production focused on Quantum dots. You will be involved in carrying out quality control on the synthesized colloidal quantum dots and assisting with scale-up, pilot tests and commercial trials.What they are looking for?They are looking for a PhD graduate preferably with two years of postdoctoral/industry experience working in the field of nanomaterials specifically quantum dots. You should have a strong knowledge of material characterisation and have production or scale-up experience. You should want to work for a start-up that can make a real impact in the semiconductor industry.What you’ll get in return?There is a salary of up to £55,000 on offer with health insurance, pension, annual performance bonus and stock options.
