Description of the Assignment: Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, and in close communication with the Senior Regional Technical Advisor in Climate and Forests team, UNDP, the national consultant will implement the following tasks:
1. Provide stakeholder engagement and advisory services to ensure strategic alignment, coherence of engagement processes, and timely achievement of results.
2. Provide institutional coordination and interface management to ensure effective administrative, procedural, and institutional alignment between MoFor and UNDP, in relation to the GCF REDD+ RBP and Climate Promise portfolios.
3. Provide analytical and quality assurance related to stakeholder engagement reporting and performance monitoring.
4. Provide strategic partnership development and communication advisory in relation to GCF REDD+ RBP and Climate Promise.
5. Produce strategic knowledge management products, institutional learning and capacity strengthening related to stakeholder engagement, in coordination with MoFor and UNDP
communication and technical teams.
Period of assignment/services: 140 working days within 8 months
