 UNDP Bangladesh has been collaborating with the Government of Bangladesh and local communities across Bangladesh since 1972, to reduce poverty, strengthen the country’s resilience in the response to climate change and natural disasters, and build capable, inclusive, and responsible governance institutions.

 As the lead UN development agency, working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for Bangladesh UNDP is focusing on systems, root causes and connections between challenges- not just thematic sectors- to build solutions that respond to people’s daily realities.

 The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh is seeking a National Consultant to conduct mobile photography and visual storytelling training sessions for our field staff. This role will focus on empowering our team members with the skills to effectively capture and communicate project activities in a visually compelling manner.

 Objectives: The primary objectives of engaging the National Consultant are as follows:

(a)   To conduct six training sessions on mobile photography and visual storytelling for targeted participants.

b)  To capture and submit a collection of 80 high-quality photographs depicting various aspects of climate change in the regions of Khulna, Bagerhat, Bhola, Patuakhali, Barguna, Sunamganj, and Kurigram.

c)  To develop an inception plan and report outlining the methodology, timeline, and approach for the implementation of mobile photography and visual storytelling training sessions.

Period of assignment/services: 17 working days for 3 months

 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
