National firm to develop methodology and procedure for assessing loss and damage

Introduction :

INTRODUCTION

 

The national firm/institution is expected to provide scientific and practical foundations for identifying and determining the damages related to climate change on mangrove ecosystems; and to develop a temporary handbook for assessing the loss and damage to mangrove ecosystems related to climate change. The specific objectives include:

  1. Reviewing and analyzing relevant studies on the assessment of loss and damage to mangrove ecosystems globally and in Vietnam related to climate change.
  2. Developing methodology and procedure for assessing the loss and damage to mangrove ecosystems in Nam Dinh and Thua Thien Hue related to climate change.
  3. Assessing the loss and damage to mangrove ecosystems related to climate change based on the methods and procedures developed in Nam Dinh and Thua Thien Hue.
  4. Developing an interim technical guideline for assessing the loss and damage to mangrove ecosystems related to climate change.

prepare your proposal in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this RFP and

submit it by the deadline for submission of proposals set out in the system.

Women-owned companies are encouraged to bid. Preference will be given to equally technically qualified

women-owned companies.
