Do you enjoy turning data into meaningful insights and helping shape the future of wildlife conservation? If so, we’re looking for a Nature Recovery Data Management Officer to join our Land Management Section and play a key role in supporting nature recovery across the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Working with colleagues and partner organisations, you’ll develop and manage ecological data and GIS systems that help us understand, monitor and report on the condition of habitats and species throughout the National Park. Your work will provide the evidence that helps shape conservation priorities and informs important decisions about the future of one of the country’s most iconic protected landscapes.
We are the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, an organisation that protects, enhances and promotes the immense beauty, wildlife and character of the Yorkshire Dales. Set against expansive heather moorland tops, each valley has its own distinct charm, from crags and waterfalls to an underground labyrinth of caves.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data and has the skills to turn information into meaningful evidence and insight. You’ll have:
A degree-level qualification in ecology, wildlife conservation or a related subject would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
