Salary: £34,434 to £36,363 per annum

The Norfolk County Council (NCC) Environment Service has an exciting and broad ranging role supporting our work to deliver our Local Nature Recovery Strategy with a focus on trees and woodland. Working within our Tree and Woodland Team you will be responsible for delivering project work around tree planting, site management and wider nature recovery in Norfolk. The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a range of projects.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional aspiring to play an essential role in the delivery of work focussed on trees and woodland contributing to delivery of the NCC Environment Policy, Local Nature Recovery Strategy and in line with the Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP) 2023 for England.
Partnership working with local stakeholders, landowners and the public is a key element of this position. Collaboration and best practice exchange with partners will be required.
You will also work closely with colleagues within the Tree and Woodland team to support their work and ensure that all project delivery is helping to support nature recovery and Biodiversity net Gain.
