Nature Reserve Officers – South Operations posts
1006-423 – Loch Leven NNR – 35 hours (5 days per week including weekends) – 1 April to 1
October
1006-427 – Loch Leven NNR – 21 hours (3 days per week including weekends) – mid May to mid
September
1006-389 – Stirling NNRs – 35 Hours (5 days per week including weekends) – 1 May to 1 September
1006-390 – Stirling NNRs – 21 Hours (3 days per week including weekends) – 1 June – 1
September
Job Purpose Summary:
The post holder will provide support to our National Nature Reserve teams to help deliver our
objectives and manage our sites principally at weekends when visitor pressure is particularly
high.
NatureScot’s National Nature Reserves showcase the best of Scottish Nature. They provide the
opportunity for people to experience, enjoy and learn about nature.
We are looking for dynamic and engaging people to help our NNR teams ensure that these sites
can be managed and protected. You will engage with visitors helping them make the most of their
visit, answering queries and encouraging responsible behaviour.
The post may occasionally involve travel to other NNRs in NatureScot South Operations to fulfil
similar duties in support of Reserve staff there.
