Description

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in routing, switching, and firewall management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures, with a particular focus on ensuring robust security measures through effective firewall configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.

• Configure and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP to ensure efficient data flow within the network.

• Manage and troubleshoot network issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and security vulnerabilities.

• Implement and maintain firewall policies to safeguard the network from unauthorized access, intrusions, and malware threats.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance network security and performance.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on routing, switching, and firewall administration.

• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).

• Strong understanding of firewall concepts and experience with leading firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper SRX).

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SNMP, syslog).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
