What does a Scholarship cover?
For home students, the scholarships will cover living expenses (UKRI rate), University tuition fees (see PhD Physics Study at Bristol University of Bristol), and training and support expenses of £1k per year.
Research Project
Applications are invited for a PhD studentship, co-funded by a biotech company and EPSRC and based in the Soft Matter and Biophysics group in the School of Physics at the University of Bristol. This is an experimental biological physics project, employing a fundamental understanding of biomolecule interactions to generate new strategies for formulation of next generation biotherapeutics.

How do I apply?
You will need (1) a CV, (2) a Personal Statement, which is a one- to two-page document introducing yourself and outlining your motivation for PhD research, and (3) a transcript of any qualifying degrees (completed and/or underway).
You do not need a research proposal, but if you would like to be considered for this studentship, please indicate on your application that your preferred supervisor is Professor Jennifer McManus and note the research project title.

What are the candidate requirements?
