JOB DESCRIPTION
– Complete secondary school, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
– Experience in fuel logistics operations and management normally acquired after seven to ten years as a Technician in the Agency or in a similar organisation.
– Experience in project management and contract administration.
– Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) standards and policies.
– Broad knowledge of fuel requirement in deployed operations and knowledge of NATO logistics procedures.
– Good understanding of or experience in the field of statistics.
Specific Qualifications – OS-84
– Good knowledge of and experience in fuel services operations.
– Proficiency in technical writing and the use of technical data.
– Willingness to be trained and ability to learn on-going processes and methods developed by the Programme Office and the Agency.
– Good communication skills and a sense of diplomacy when dealing with persons inside and outside the Agency at all levels and of different nationalities.
– Interest in maintaining personal proficiency and skills and keeping current on technological advances.
– Ability to study individual cases and carry out complex administrative or technical tasks with a minimum of supervision.
– Ability to formulate recommendations and suggestions within the functional area.
– Ability to exercise an independent judgement and take initiative within the parameters of the role and responsibilities assigned.
– Good knowledge of and experience in Fuel distribution and/or airfield services operations (GHS).
– Well-developed communication skills (written and oral and presentation).
– Sense of diplomacy when dealing with persons inside and outside the Agency at all levels and of different nationalities.
– Interest in maintaining personal proficiency and skills and keeping current on technological advances.

POST DETAILS
- Basic monthly salary: EUR 6 105.18, tax free.
- This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
